Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The movie Piano earned her numerous awards which included an Oscar. Her career in acting started with Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway as well as Off Broadway projects. She is a lover of acting ever since she was in school. The first time she appeared in a production in fifth grade was Helen Keller. Mumps led her to lose her hearing in one of her ear, however this did not stop her from following her dreams. While in college, she took classes in theatre as well as later moving from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City in pursuit of her dream. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and they worked together to make Broadway Crimes of the Heart which was Hunter's debut film. When she moved to Los Angeles, Hunter tried to land movie roles. An supporting role was found in Swing Shift. Since then, Holly Hunter has been in many films, series and television films. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and also an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
